"Life starts all over again when it gets crisp in the fall."

-F. Scott Fitzgerald

Falling, a group show, looks at the dichotomy of fall as both a time of beginnings and endings.  Inspired by the fall foliage Maine is known for, the exhibition looks to how we relate to blooming colors of the fall and their disappearance.  Fall represents the end of a period of growth and marks the transition into the cold days of winter.  Yet it also fills us with joy and hope in the knowledge that there is beauty even in loss.
